The Festival for Independent Theatre is organized by ACT Association in cooperation with the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (IETM)

ACT is a member of the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (IETM) and as part of its cooperation with it the Festival will welcome 15 international managers and key practitioners in the field of performing arts as guests and observers. Thus, the festival will provide an opportunity for actual and productive meeting between Bulgarian independent artists and representatives of European and American cultural institutions.

The festival will bring together performances of Bulgaria’s independent theatrical stage. In the long run, the Festival for Independent Theatre aims to become an annual showcase for the production of country’s independent stage and to include international participants as well.
