On the eve of the biggest Christian holiday "Palm Sunday" the  Municipal Orchestra Sinfonietta "Sofia" and Sofia Development Association started an initiative that will present the candidature of   Sofia  for European Capital of Culture 2019 across the 24 districts of the city. On April 5 at 18:30 in the municipal cultural center "Nadezhda". Rossini, Mozart, Bizet, Weber,Wieniawski, Gimenes will sound to support Sofia 2019. Special festive program of Sinfonietta "Sofia" will be presented under the conductor ship of Svilen Simeonov. Our plan for the next two years is to do one concert in all 24 districts of Sofia, so we can reach more citizens of Sofia that should know about the initiative, but also to be engaged with ideas.
