There is a substantial part of Sofia that few people know about: mysterious, forgotten, abandoned or just overlooked. Applying urban methodology approaches such as psychogeography and cultural/community mapping with communities, schools etc. and keeping in mind the social dimension of arts and culture, we set off on a journey to unearth hidden gems, invisible communities, alternative art forms, fascinating stories from within some of Sofia’s most iconic urban environments. We will invite artists, visitors and citizens to dare go off the beaten path, finding unity in other cultures and subcultures and accepting unpredictability.
